Posting to Circles
Now when we make a new post we have the option to choose which circles get to see them.
We’ll head over to our Profile (under the Home menu at the top left) and choose “Posts” under our cover photo. We have the option to make our post viewable to the public in general, or if we click on that section we get a drop down menu where we can check off specific circles:

If you want to make sure a very specific person in one of your circles is notified about your posts you can “plus” them, which is similar to using “@” in Twitter. You enter the + sign in your text then, with no space between, start typing the name of the person you want notified. It will give you a drop box of options to fill in the rest of the name:
image=”11094″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” ] The other big similarity shared with Twitter is the use of hashtags to indicate or start global conversations. So we throw a # into our post along with a couple of starting letters and Google will give us some options to select from, or we can create our own:
